ADMISSION POLICY

a) Admission forms will be issued at the School Office only to the

parent of children.

b) It is essential that correct information be furnished in the admission

forms as this will be used as the basis for the school record, if the child

is given admission.

c) Application forms will not be accepted unless the date of birth of the

child is authenticated by corporation.

ATTENDANCE

a) Students must be very regular in attendance. No leave may be taken

before or after the limits of the school vacation periods.

b) Applications for leave must be given to the headmaster only.

Absence without leave will result in the student being marked absent.

Long periods of illness should be supported by a

medical Certificate.

c) No child may attend school with infectious diseases like

chicken pox, measles mumps and whooping cough.

d) Children are not expected to leave the premises during school hours

without the permission of the head master. Permission to leave the

school premises during lunch break or for the afternoon session will

not be granted, except on special consideration with a letter duly signed

by the parents.

e) Parents or guardians wishing to contact their children during school

hours are required to obtain permission of the Headmaster and for

valid reasons only. It is compulsory for every student to attend the

classes till the last day of the school term.

SCHOOL PROPERTY

a) Children should be habitually clean and always dressed neatly.

b) Students should take care of the school property. They should not

write or scratch on desks, chairs, walls or doors of the school, nor

should they damage property belonging to others. Any damage done

to the school property must be remedied by the offender.

c) The school is not responsible for goods or money or gold ornaments

lost.

d) Parents are requested not to give any money to their children

unless on written request from the school.

MEETING THE HEADMASTER AND TEACHERS

a) Parents / Guardians should not interview teacher or enter the class

room or staff room during the school hours. Enquiries must be made in

the office only.

b) Parents may meet individual teachers before or after the class.

They are requested not to disturb them during class hours.

PROGRESS AND PROMOTION

a) Students should get their progress report cards signed by their

parents/guardians and return to the school within three days of its

receipt.

b) Absence must be explained by leave letter in the diary to the

headmaster in writing by the parent/guardian.

c) Promotions are granted on basis of the whole year’s work of the

student, hence is the importance of regularity in attendance and work.

d) Students who are absent themselves from tests and exams will not

be permitted to take up re-test and exams.

e) For promotion, a student must put in 75% of attendance

CONDUCT

Student should behave in a gentle manner at all times and in

all places. They should always remember that the school is judged by

their conduct. They should greet their teachers and elders when they

meet them.
